February 09, 2004 By: Laurice Watson An understanding of food and vitamins
In order for vitamins to be most valuable they in fact should be taken with food. Food is like a carrier agent for vitamins. Different vitamins may be taken for different reasons and it is possible to be taking too much of a vitamin so it is recommended that you consult a professional to ensure your purchase is serving you best. There are two categories for which all vitamins are divided into; water soluble and fat soluble. A,E,D and K are all fat soluble. Certain vitamins should not be taken at the same time either. Just because they are over the counter does not mean they cannot have adverse reactions when combined.
