The key to great sports nutrition is balance. Having a diverse diet that combines all the proteins and nutrients you need, will allow your body to work at its maximum. Cutting out carbohydrates and fats entirely will not serve an athlete either. Like I said, balance is the key. Large meals are not suggested, eating multiple smaller meals is more beneficial.
