We all go through changes as our body’s age and one of these is menopause. This is a condition we normally associate with women but there is also a form of male menopause. In short, menopause is a change in hormones in your body that usually occurs to mark the end of a woman’s child bearing years. It is the end of the occurrence of her menstrual cycle and hormones bring on this change. It is as natural for a woman as the beginning of her menstrual cycle although it can be a much longer period of change. Some women suffer greatly over a period of years as their bodies undergo this transformation. Other women barely notice the change other than they stop their monthly release of blood. The symptoms of the onset of menopause vary between women but there is no mistaking them usually. She may have trouble sleeping and have to endure hot flashes both at night and during the day. She may have a hard time maintaining her normal demeanor and experience extreme mood swings. Her monthly bleeding will become irregular and eventually stop totally. As this is a natural function of the body many people seek help from natural food supplements that address the symptoms and ease the process. There is no stopping the progression of menopause but it is possible to make the journey less stressful. Understanding the natural supplements that are available to you is a good place to start if you feel that your passage has begun. Author Notes:
