The fatigue epidemic - lack of energy complaints are a concern for doctors

‘I just don’t have any energy’. Doctors are faced with this complaint every day in growing numbers. What is it that keeps you from vibrant health and well being? Stress, smoking, lack of exercise or sleep, processed and fast foods, or depression are among many common factors affecting well being. Lifestyle patterns influence our energy, and yet we fail to see the ‘cause’ and ‘effect’ relationship of our ways. What does your daily routine look like? What is affecting your well being?

These are questions and issues that will not be solved in a day or a few paragraphs, but warrant serious attention and honesty toward our daily living habits. Do you practice good healthy living strategies? Challenge yourself to look at the top three health habits you possess. What are you taking for granted about your health? Do you believe you don’t need to worry about getting a nutritious meal because you’re still young? Are you going to start the exercise program next week, again? Consider looking at your health focusing on what you will gain, and adopt strategies that reward you for the health goals that you reach. Attitude is everything. Change how you think about your health and you will change your energy.

Focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want. Do you want to loose weight? Focus on the dress sizes you will go down, or a new shopping spree. Do you want to feel well throughout the day? Focus on the vibrancy you’ll feel again, and practice nutritional eating habits, supplementing with vitamins, minerals and herbs. Test your new habit for a one-month period and you will be amazed how fast your old unhealthy pattern has been changed to healthy. Have the energy to do the things you want with your family, friends and loved ones. Don’t forget to focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want. Improve your energy and the quality of your life!
